Complete the e-application and book a time to meet with the Director (link provided after submission)
What happens after you apply?
You will meet the Director via in-person or Virtually to have an informal meeting about how MESA can support you and which program you will be assigned.
Is there a deadline for the MESA application?
No, there is no deadline for the MESA application. We accept applications on a rolling basis.
Can I join mesa if i am part of another student support program?
Yes, you can join MESA if you are part of another student support program, such as Juntos, Umoja, Puente and TRiO SSS. If you have any questions or need any further information about MESA, please do not hesitate to contact the MESA Staff. (Running Start Students are limited to 10% of the programs total population )
Eligibility:
You may be eligible for MESA if you meet a variety of the following requirements:
- Plan to transfer to a 4-year university in a STEM major
- First-generation college students (parents did not receive a four year bachelor’s degree)
- Students at an economic disadvantage.
- No previous bachelor’s degree earned.
- Once it is determined that you are eligible to be a part of the MESA Program at Highline College, you will be asked to sign a student contract (link to PDF) with your commitment to the MESA Program.
